MISSY ELLIOTT Will Be Inducted To Songwriters Hall Of Fame!
Missy Elliott will be the first female hip-hop artist to be inducted into the Songwriters Hall Of Fame.
On the Songwriters Hall Of Fame’s official website, the “Get Ur Freak On” artist and five-time Grammy winner was described as “one of the most significant female artists in contemporary music history” and a “a groundbreaking solo superstar, pioneering songwriter-producer, and across-the-board cultural icon”.
Missy took to Twitter to express her gratitude over her groundbreaking achievement.
