The TV show that started the Asianovela craze in the Philippines is having a reboot! Yep, we'll finally be seeing a new set of actors who will play Xi Men, Mei Zuo, Hua Ze Lei at Dao Ming Si in 2018!

Exactly 16 years after Meteor Garden started airing on Taiwanese television, producer Angie Chai confirmed via Chinese microblogging site Sina Weibo that a reboot to the phenomenal series is underway!

According to The Strait Times, the producer herself wrote the announcement, saying: "On April 12, 2001, 16 years ago, Meteor Garden premiered and it was the beginning of a beautiful dream."

She also thanked Barbie Hsu who played Shancai before officially breaking the big news. "Yes! Meteor Garden is being remade! An all-new Meteor Garden belonging to your youth!"
