Last August, Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl unveiled a 23-minute instrumental track called "Play" which saw him showcase his musical skills playing not just one, but seven other instruments.

The former Nirvana drummer played the piece live for the very first time at Warren Haynes' 2018 Christmas Jam in Asheville, North Carolina last Saturday and it's all sorts of epic.
Of course, it's impossible for him to play all seven instruments at the same time by himself, so Grohl made sure he brought himself some back-up via an all-star band which included Greg Kurstin on keyboards, Alain Johannes, Jason Falkner and Barrett Jones on guitars, Chris Chaney on bass, and Drew Hester on percussion.
