2018 saw another career resurgence for Eminem. Ever since the rapper released his surprise record Kamikaze last August, he has been on quite a roll. He even produced a battle rap film called Bodied which was released last month.
The release of BODIED has me feeling nostalgic about battle rap so I headed down to my old stomping grounds, Hit the link for 10+ minutes of it 🔊 “Kick Off" (Freestyle) - https://t.co/gR49ti7sVI pic.twitter.com/GzSmYlmaaW

To celebrate the film's release, Em dropped a new 11-minute freestyle rap he calls "Kick Off". He opens up the piece with the lyrics "I’ve always looked at battle rap as competition or war.”
Shot at The Shelter at St. Andrew’s in Detroit, the simplistic video shows the rapper dropping his bars and doing what he does best. Check out Eminem's "Kick Off" right here.
