English rock band Lower Than Atlantis confirmed that they are parting ways after almost 12 years of performing together. In a long and heartfelt post on social media, the quartet formed in 2007 stated that they “heavy heartedly decided to take a break from the band".

“We’ve had an absolutely unimaginable 11 years making and playing music for people who have completely changed our lives for the better and we honestly can’t thank you enough for that. But we feel that we’d be doing all of you a disservice continuing this way,” LTA wrote.

The band is set for the final Lower Than Atlantis tour in three different UK cities in May 2019. Check out their official statement about their breakup below!
