RITA ORA Drops Sophomore Album "Phoenix"
Rita Ora has been putting out new music since releasing her debut album Ora in 2012, but it's only now—yep, nearly seven years later—that she will release a follow-up full-length album to the world. Behold, the British hitmaker's Phoenix:
The 16-track effort includes previously released collaborations "Lonely Together" with Avicii, "For You" with Liam Payne, and "Girls" with Cardi B, Bebe Rexha, and Charli XCX.
"I released my [debut album] everywhere else, but to tell you the truth, music speaks for itself. I’m not blaming anyone—it just wasn’t the right time. Now it’s time for a change, and I can’t wait to get into the studio," she told Vanity Fair in a 2016 interview.
In another interview, this time with Billboard during the 2018 American Music Awards (AMAs), Rita said: "But this is the first time I get to pour my heart out, and I'm…not nervous, I'm just a bit excited, but a little bit like I don't know what's going to happen…it's the first time I'm like letting go, so, we'll see."
Fast forward to this very day, we're telling you, Rita, Phoenix is the absolute pop gem!
