DRAKE Just Beat A Record THE BEATLES Held For 54 Years
Drake has proven once again that he is one of today's most valuable music acts. After the massive success of his latest record Scorpion which achieved 1 billion streams in one week, he's added yet another accolade under his belt.
The Canadian rapper just beat a record that was previously held by legendary band The Beatles for 54 years, thanks to his involvement in Bad Bunny's new track entitled "MIA".
It's his 12th song to reach the Top 10 of the US Billboard Hot 100 chart in 2018, the most that one artist has ever had in a single year! His series of chart-topping hits this year include "God's Plan", "Nice For What" and "In My Feelings" among others.
Drake posted his touching text exchange with his high school teacher who was pretty ecstatic over the rapper's new achievement.
The impressive record was set by the fab four in 1964 with classics such as "Can't Buy Me Love", "A Hard Days Night", "She's A Woman", "I Feel Fine" all entering the charts. They had a total of 11 hits that year but the record is now for Drake to take.
