Noooo! Luke Cage has been cancelled by Netflix after two well-received seasons. Showrunner Cheo Hodari Coker and stars Mike Colter and Mustafa Shakir were hopeful for a Season 3 during our MYXclusive interview earlier this year.

The disappointing news comes just one week after the cancellation of fellow Netflix Marvel series Iron Fist despite the major improvements in Season 2. Check out our MYXclusive interview with showrunner Raven Metzner and star Finn Jones:

Meanwhile, cameras will officially stop rolling for Orange Is the New Black once the Netflix series wraps up its seventh season. The critically-acclaimed prison-based comedy drama is set to air its final episodes in Summer 2019.

A video posted on the show's social medial channels warned "This may make you cry". It showed the cast members officially announcing their departure from Litchfield.

"Season seven, you will not be disappointed. It is a season you will not forget. And we will give you everything and more that you could have ever wanted," promised Uzo Aduba who plays Suzanne "Crazy Eyes" Warren. See it below.

OITNB—which was based on Piper Kerman's 2010 memoir of the same name—first aired in 2013. Since then, it has picked up numerous awards and recognitions for confronting multiple issues like violence against the LGBT community, police brutality, racism, just to name a few.

“After seven seasons, it’s time to be released from prison,” series showrunner Jenji Kohan said. “I will miss all the badass ladies of Litchfield and the incredible crew we’ve worked with. My heart is orange but fade to black." SAME.
