JAMES GUNN Has Reportedly Jumped Ship To DC
Three months removed from his shocking firing from the Guardians of the Galaxy film franchise, director James Gunn has reportedly landed a project at Warner Bros.
Gunn is rumored to be already working on the script for the sequel to 2016's Sucide Squad with some claiming he might even end up directing the film.
GOTG actor Dave Bautista, who played Drax the Destroyer in the Marvel Studios blockbuster, has been very vocal about his support of Gunn and said he'd be interested in making the big DC jump too. He's still contractually obligated to do "Guardians 3" but we'll have to wait and see how everything plays out.

Last July, the comic book world was stunned when Gunn got fired from the franchise after a series of old, controversial tweets resurfaced online. Disney has since been firm with their stand of not reinstating him despite an open letter from the entire cast in support of the director.
