Disney Is Making A Live-Action ‘Lilo & Stitch’ Movie
The coming years promise to be spectacular for loyal Disney fans, especially with the forthcoming releases of live-action remakes of classic animated films Mulan, The Lion King, Aladdin, and Dumbo. And as if all that wasn't enough, the company has officially added Lilo & Stitch to the long list.
Lilo & Stitch is getting a live-action/CG hybrid re-imagining, The Hollywood Reporter reports. Although not much else have been revealed of the remake, which will be produced by Dan Lin and Jonathan Eirich, and has Mike Van Waes as the scriptwriter, it is believed that it could be intended "for a theatrical release or for Disney's streaming service that is set to launch in 2019."
Some fans, however, are not on board on the idea of repurposing the 2002 animated movie. "Oh my God!!! I love love Lilo & Stitch," a fan wrote in reaction to the news. "Don't screw this up Disney."

Another demanded that the company "leave Lilo & Stitch alone!!"

A different fan admitted that the news gave her mixed feelings, and called on Disney not to "f*ck it up."
Lilo & Stitch is my favorite Disney movie. The movie, the TV show, everything about it I love to death. Seeing it get a live action remake is giving me mixed feelings. The only thing I can say is: DON’T. FUCK. THIS. UP. pic.twitter.com/ZxhIoJrqhJ— Spoopilems (@emilems412) October 3, 2018
