Sharon Cuneta’s 40th anniversary concert was truly one for the books! Sharonians from different walks of life and her closest friends in the industry came together to celebrate the one and only Megastar.

Sharon: My 40 Years was packed with a really stellar lineup of special guests who were part of her unparalleled career as a singer, host, and actress for over four decades.

Everyone in the Big Dome was ecstatic as the stage unveiled Sharon glimmering in an elegant red dress. She sang “Bituing Walang Ningning” for her opening salvo along with a medley of her earliest hits like “High School Life”, “Hagkan”, and of course, “Mr. DJ”.

Our hearts melted when she was joined by her eldest daughter KC who came back to the country for this concert to sing “If I Could” and “Dear Heart”.

This month's MYX Headliner and the first ever MYX Magna Awardee also sang 80s hits along with diva BFFs Kuh Ledesma and Zsa Zsa Padilla while her former backup singer Agot Isidro proudly returned to her old job for one night.

Sharon also performed the hits of her current favorite singer Moira dela Torre - “Malaya” and “Tagpuan” - arranged by musical directors Mell Villena, Louie Ocampo and Ryan Cayabyab.

The Megastar also did a tribute to her most notable leading men over the years. She sang her very popular movie theme songs like “Kahit Konting Pagtingin” (Fernando Poe Jr), “Kung Ako Na Lang Sana” (Aga Muhlach), “Pangako Sa’yo” (Bong Revilla), and “Maging Sino Ka Man” (Robin Padilla) while a montage of their memorable scenes was flashed on the big screen.

Bituing Walang Ningning and Madrasta leading man Christopher De Leon joined her in singing “Sana’y Maghintay Ang Walang Hanggan”. She even teased her "longtime showbiz crush" for not seeing her in the same light.

Sharon also did wonderful numbers with iconic male singers like Basil Valdez, Martin Nievera, Gary Valenciano, and "Mr'. DJ" songwriter Rey Valera who was very instrumental in her career.

"Kahit maputi na ang buhok ko".

Her favorite artist - Asia's Songbird Regine Velasquez-Alcasid - made a surprise appearance as well!

One of the biggest kilig moments of the night was Sharon’s duet with Richard Gomez as they sang “Somewhere Down The Road” from their 2000 Star Cinema movie Minsan, Minahal Kita. The ex-lovers will reunite in a new movie with Kathryn Bernardo soon.

According to the Megastar, Sharon: My 40 Years is a thank you gift to everyone who supported her through all her ups and downs. The grateful icon performed a brand new original song called “Dahil Nandyan Ka” as salute to her supporters and friends who never left her side.

After wiping her tears of joy, she sang the inspirational anthem “Pangarap Na Bituin” for the finale.

As a bonus, she went on to perform “I-Swing Mo Ako” as she called her whole family to dance with her onstage. This definitely left Sharonians in high spirits after the truly memorable show.
