Micro-consoles are today's thing when it comes to retro entertainment. Gaming giant Nintendo started the trend last year when they reintroduced the SNES Classic Edition console which will soon be followed by the release of its NES counterpart. SNK also dropped their own surprise with Neo Geo Mini's release last July.

With the return of the said gaming consoles, Sony is left with no other choice but to join the latest craze and finally, they did just that. We're in for a major nostalgia trip because our favorite gaming console is making a comeback after 12 years with the new PlayStation Classic! A reintroduction of some sort of the original PlayStation or PS1 which debuted in 1994 and was discontinued in 2006.

The PlayStation Classic pretty much retains the PS1's overall retro aesthetic but made it a lot more compact. It's 45% smaller than the original PlayStation so now you can take your gaming experience everywhere you go! In addition to that, it also has an HDMI cable and a USB cable to help power the console. Check it out!

The PlayStation Classic will be available in the market this December and will be pre-loaded with 20 classic games we've all grown to love including Final Fantasy VII, Tekken 3, Jumping Flash and a lot more!
