Foo Fighters frontman and Nirvana ex-drummer Dave Grohl doesn't really play songs from his old band as often as he should. In fact, he's only done it on several occasions, most notably during their Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction in 2014.

The rock icon made a surprise appearance over the weekend during jazz act Trombone Shorty & New Orleans Avenue's Voodoo Threauxdown Festival set in Los Angeles.

They played Nirvana's classic grudge anthem "In Bloom". Check it out below!
