We've grown so attached to Katherine Langford's portrayal of Hannah Baker in the surprise hit 13 Reasons Why that it left fans of the Netflix show reeling from news of her departure. Luckily, the success of her breakout role opened even more doors for the Australian actress—for instance, her upcoming lead role in the new drama Cursed.

The 22-year-old will be starring as a teenage heroine "with a mysterious gift" named Nimue "who is destined to become the powerful (and tragic) Lady of the Lake," according to a press release. The series, which Netflix picked up, is based on a book of the same name written by Tom Wheeler and illustrated by Frank Miller.

There's no word on the new drama's exact release date yet, but fans can expect it to be out sometime in 2019.
