Up-and-coming indie band Bita and the Botflies released an intriguing music video for their quirky single, "Chop Chop Blues"! We asked the five-piece band how they were able to come up with the haunting visual during its launch.

"Chop Chop Blues is about this girl, first relationship niya pero natapat siya sa player. So ngayon control freak siya since the player cheated on her many times. So how does she cope with that? 'Yung gagawin n'ya is very violent," vocalist Sofy Aldeguer explained.

"It's for all the girls who have been cheated on pero they wanna do something but they can't," added Sofy who wrote the song back in 2016.

But before you protest the very savage theme, the band said that they do not encourage murder and it's just all in the mind of the main character played by Barbara Ruaro. The band credits Gorio Vicuña and prod house GWard Inc. for the awesome visual. "They are great and so accommodating sa mga ideas na nilalatag namin so we are really appreciative of what they did to us. We're just so lucky to have them."
