‘Wizards of Waverly Place’ Star DAVID HENRIE Issues Apology After Arrest At Los Angeles Airport
Former Disney star David Henrie was arrested after airport authorities found a loaded handgun in his possession, TMZ reports.
The 29-year-old actor, who starred alongside Selena Gomez on Wizards of Waverly Place, was carrying a loaded pistol which was discovered while he was going through security screening. People later confirmed that David was released on a $10,000 bail and will appear in court on October 1st.
A statement posted shortly after the father-to-be's release reads: "I take responsibility for the situation at LAX today. I unintentionally brought my legally owned gun which is registered in my name to the airport. I am so sorry for any trouble it caused, but I am appreciative of [Transportation Security Administration]’s efforts in implementing the safety laws that are in place to protect our beautiful country."
He added, "More than anything I am humiliated and embarrassed that this even happened. But I am thankful to the TSA, [Los Angeles Police Department] and all involved today for their kindness and their professionalism during this process."
