Don't Believe SKAI JACKSON's Mom When She Said TOM HOLLAND, ZENDAYA Are Dating
Tom Holland and Zendaya's relationship has been the subject of romance speculations ever since Spider-Man: Homecoming premiered in 2017. Although the co-stars and "mates" flat out denied those pesky dating rumors more times than we can count, a lot of people remain interested on their "real" relationship status.
Understandably so, fans lost their sh*t when Z's friend Skai Jackson's mom Kiya Cole confirmed in an Instagram comment that, indeed, the pair are dating. "Yes. It's true. They been on the low for a while," she wrote in response to an Instagram user who ridiculed a post about "rumoured real-life boyfriend" Tom being present on the former Disney star's birthday celebration in London.
The now-deleted comment created a lot of drama over the weekend, with some calling out Kiya for invading the couple's privacy. Even Zendaya's stylist Law Roach questioned the claims. "Really?" he wrote. "And how would you know?"
Honestly me too. I’m not a shipper and I’m not an “anti” (I hate that term) but what she did was wrong. pic.twitter.com/Z9NP31Nhrb— Jasmine (@_jasminemprince) September 3, 2018
And so after being on the receiving end of the fans' wrath (or maybe she realized what she did was disrespectful), Kiya issued a statement via Instagram claiming that her account was hacked. "Nothing posted or said was me," she said. "I could care less or know who was dating who. Please stop asking."
As much as we want to believe that there is something romantic going on between Tom and Zendaya, we should still give the two stars the privacy they deserve either way.
