U2's Berlin Show Cut Short After Singer BONO Completely Loses His Voice
Premiere rock crew U2 was forced to cut short their Berlin show last Saturday, September 1 after Bono suffered a "complete loss of voice" following one of their performances.
The band was still able to play their hit anthem "A Beautiful Day". After which, Bono addressed the crowd in attendance that they have to abruptly close the show due to his condition.
Bono visited a doctor on Sunday and much to his relief, he received a positive prognosis. In a stament posted on the band's official website, Bono said he was happy and relieved his condition was nothing serious. "I've seen a great doctor and with his care I’ll be back to full voice for the rest of the tour. So happy and relieved that anything serious has been ruled out."
The band's European tour is set to resume with their Berlin show being moved to November 13th.
