Filipinos have yet another reason to rejoice! Pinay skateboard sensation Margielyn Didal just scored the Philippines' fourth gold medal in the women's skateboarding street event held at the JSC Skateboard Stadium in Palembang, Indonesia.

The Cebu native finished the competition with a total score of 30.4, outlasting Japan's Isa Kaya and Indonesia's Bunga Nyimas to capture the gold medal.

Didal earned major praises from her impressive outing. She is now reportedly eyeing an appearance at the Southeast Asian Games and possibly planning to join qualifiers for the 2020 Olympics.

The Philippines so far has brought home a total of 17 medals and is currently ranked 16 overall.
