LIAM PAYNE's Debut Solo EP Is Everything We've Been Waiting For
Liam Payne's new sound is completely different from his days as a member of the popular boy group One Direction. Granted we've already had a taste of his new solo music with previously released singles "Strip That Down," J Balvin-assisted "Familiar," "Get Low," and "Bedroom Floor," but we're still not used to it, tbh. Nevertheless, we're loving it!
Today, the 24-year-old heartthrob dropped his debut EP titled First Time ahead of the release of his most hotly anticipated debut full-length album on September 14, and it's definitely everything we've been waiting for. However, some fans noticed that two of the tracks—particularly "Depend On It" and "Slow"—hint at Liam's then-deteriorating relationship with ex-girlfriend Cheryl Cole.
"We used to be lovin’, touchin', kissin', f***in', like our lives depend on it. How we get to lyin', cryin', always fightin', like our lives depend on it," he sings in one of the songs. Listen to the four-track effort below, and tell us what you think.
