ARETHA FRANKLIN Passes Away At 76

Soul Queen Aretha Franklin has passed away at the age of 76.
According to BBC News, the legendary songstress died in her Detroit home few days after being reported to be "gravely ill" and in hospice care. It was 2010 when she was diagnosed with cancer.
"In one of the darkest moments of our lives, we are not able to find the appropriate words to express the pain in our heart," reads her family's official statement. "We have lost the matriarch and rock of our family. The love she had for her children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins knew no bounds."
Aretha is also known for her hits like "Respect", "Think" and "Natural Woman" and her version of "I Say A Little Prayer."
