The Beatles weren't always a solid group. The former Quarrymen experienced lineup changes during their early years, but it wasn't until 1962 when the band's official and most recognizable lineup was solidified.

Beatles drummer Ringo Starr took to Twitter to commemorate one very important moment in rock music history: the official forming of the "Fab Four".

Ringo replaced the band's original drummer Pete Best after he was fired from the band and the rest, as they say, is history.
