RINGO STARR Joined THE BEATLES 56 Years Ago!
The Beatles weren't always a solid group. The former Quarrymen experienced lineup changes during their early years, but it wasn't until 1962 when the band's official and most recognizable lineup was solidified.
“In your twenties you’re just rolling, you feel that anything is possible; there’s no obstacles. If they are in your way, you’re determined just to knock them down.” - Ringo. When have you felt most like anything is possible? pic.twitter.com/LaqRvJ5oum— The Beatles (@thebeatles) July 23, 2018
Beatles drummer Ringo Starr took to Twitter to commemorate one very important moment in rock music history: the official forming of the "Fab Four".
56 years ago Wednesday, 15 August John Paul and George invited me to become part of the Beatles it was a great day for me peace and love. 😎✌️🌟💖🤓😏🤨— #RingoStarr (@ringostarrmusic) August 15, 2018
Ringo replaced the band's original drummer Pete Best after he was fired from the band and the rest, as they say, is history.<>
The Beatles remains to this day the most influential group in history and it's almost unimaginable where "the long and winding road" could have led them if Ringo didn't join the band.
