A "Train To Busan" Sequel Is In The Works!

The director of the 2016 Korean film Train To Busan confirmed that a sequel is currently in the works - but it isn't going to take place inside a train again, FYI.
The upcoming installment will focus on the spread of the zombie virus in the city. “It’s still in an early stage, so there’s nothing decided yet," Yeon Sang Ho stated in a report by Soompi. "There’s just an early version of the scenario, and the working title is Peninsula."
The first movie starred Gong Yoo so the biggest question is, will the Goblin star still be part of the sequel? According to Sang Ho, "while the cast hasn’t been determined, the actors who appeared in Train to Busan will not be in this new movie." Sad to hear that but we're still excited to survive this new zombie apocalypse!
Filming is expected to begin in 2019.
