Imagine Dragons frontman Dan Reynolds just had the most scary experience a singer could ever take: losing his voice.
Opening up on Instagram story, he recounted, "I just finished a show in Houston on stage and right on the first show, my vocal chords just stopped working. It wasnt because I was sick... I never experienced anything like it so it was scary."

I’m so sorry for tonight. I thought I could sing through the sickness but I could not. and you sang for me. thank you w all my heart.
I love you all. X
Dan was thankful to the crowd for taking over. He then visited a doctor and was told that one of his vocal chords was paralyzed. "It's not vibrating for unknown reasons and I thought that my career was completely over."
But the main reason why Dan is sharing his story was because he's feeling a 'crazy level of gratitude right now' for the miraculous event that happened on their next show. "I just took a chance and went on stage and my voice worked."
"Today was defintely a miracle for me," he added. "It was like the universe was looking out for you." We are so happy for you, Dan. You just made us a believer.
