Why Is KRISTOFFER MARTIN Getting Dragged Into BARBIE IMPERIAL Issue?
Over the weekend, Barbie Imperial made headlines when she suddenly posted a tweet about physical abuse.
While she did not drop any names, fans were quick to point fingers at her boyfriend Paul Salas while Kapuso star Kristoffer Martin was also dragged into the sensitive issue.
But how does the latter fit in the narrative? Apparently, Kristoffer - who co-starred with Paul in the 2008 ABS-CBN primetime series Kung Fu Kids - allegedly posted a series of tweets just hours after Barbie tweeted on social media. The now-deleted tweets were deemed to be a case of "victim blaming" by some netizens.

Kristoffer eventually expressed that he doesn't "tolerate physical abuse" and that he just felt affected by the words thrown against his 'brother' whom he chose not to name.
I see where people are coming from. Some took it a little far kaya lumaki. I DON’T TOLERATE PHYSICAL ABUSE. Sorry if na mislead yung iba. Ni girlfriend ko kahit kelan di ko naisipang saktan. Naapektuhan lang ako bilang kapatid. Not my story to tell. Again, sorry.— Kristoffer Martin (@flinsTUNs) July 15, 2018
The singer-actor also defended his own girlfriend who was attacked by some fans on social media.
Pero to di ko papalampasin. You talk about abuse. Pero yung ganituhin niyo yung taong wala namang kinalaman? Sinong mas umabuso? pic.twitter.com/kCj8clXGNf— Kristoffer Martin (@flinsTUNs) July 15, 2018
