In 2014, we were introduced to Rak of Aegis—an original Filipino musical based on the music of OPM rock legend Aegis—which quickly became our musical obsession. And due to insistent public demand, the Philippine Educational Theater Association (PETA) has decided to bring back the critically-acclaimed production for a sixth run!

Returning to the show are theater veterans Kim Molina, Robert Seña and Isay Alvarez, Renz Verano, Pepe Herrera, Poppert Bernadas, Lorenz Martinez and Sheila Valderrama, and more. Fresh new faces - which were picked through a nationwide talent search - will also take part in the restaging.

Rak of Aegis, described as "a stylized and hyperreal celebration of Filipino resilience – people striving amidst adversity, individuals keeping a cheerful appearance despite bleak economic conditions, finding joy, laughter and love while bereft of dignity and stability", will run until September 2 at the PETA Theater Center.

By the end of it all, we're 100 percent sure you'll become a musical fanatic—if you still aren't!
