PANIC! AT THE DISCO Frontman BRENDON URIE Comes Out As Pansexual
Less than a week after pledging $1 million in support for the LGBT Youth in different high schools in the U.S., Panic! At The Disco frontman Brendon Urie makes a bold revelation as he comes out as pansexual in a recent interview with PAPER magazine.
"I guess you could qualify me as pansexual because I really don't care. If a person is great, then a person is great [...] I guess this is me coming out as pansexual." @brendonurie opens up about pansexuality, #MeToo and Mormonism. “I'm married to a woman and I'm very much in love with her but I'm not opposed to a man because to me, I like a person,” the singer behind "Say Amen" said.
“Yeah I guess you could qualify me as pansexual because I really don't care," he continued. "I guess this is me coming out as pansexual," he added.
Opting to go for a more inclusive label, Urie has always been vocal about his sexuality.
“If a person is great, then a person is great,” Urie stated. “I just like good people, if your heart's in the right place. I'm definitely attracted to men. It's just people that I am attracted to.”
Having been married for five years now to Sarah Orzechowski, he has often identified himself as gender fluid in several interviews.
Everyone deserves a safe and inclusive community. The Highest Hopes Foundation is beyond excited to join forces with @glsen, the first of many alliances to come. Together we will give kids the support they need to create student-led LGBTQ clubs (aka GSAs) in schools across America ❤️🌈 glsen.org/panic
