Jed Madela once again took to Twitter to defend Darren Espanto after their duet on It's Showtime received unfavorable criticisms from bashers.
Jed, who described Darren as "one of my favorite singing partners," came to the "Poison" singer's defense after coming across negative comments about Darren's performance during their OPM medley duet on It's Showtime earlier today.
"Don't mind the bashers. They can never come close to Darren's voice even if they were sick. Nag-iisa lang si D," he wrote, replying to one of the netizens who expressed concerned for Darren who is apparently sick.
"He could have asked to lower it, but no, he is a trooper! Hindi madali mag perform na may sakit," he added, responding to another netizen's tweet.
Darrenatics expressed their gratitude toward Jed Madela for always having their idol's back.
"Will always be proud of this boy!
#BrotherhoodOfTheVocalChords," Jed stated in one of his tweets.
It’s been more than a year since we last sang together! Darren will always be one of my favorite singing partners! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻— jedmadela (@jedmadela) June 23, 2018

Bashers are losers hiding behind their phones and social media. Again, they will never come close to a Darren Espanto. https://t.co/EPmWJo4hwx— jedmadela (@jedmadela) June 23, 2018
