ASSEMBLY GENERALS Celebrates The Old Filipino Alphabet In New Song "ABKD"!

It was in the 1940s when the indigenized alphabet of the Philippines was created and unlike its modern counterpart, it that contained only twenty letters. And in celebration of Independence Day, local hip-hop group Assembly Generals released their newest video for their song called “ABKD”. 

A proud creation of Team Manila Videos under the direction of Tim Tupa, the video features frontman Paolo “Switch” Toledo delivering each line of the song beginning with the characters of the old alphabet. Amazing.
