Fans Sing "Skyscraper" For DEMI LOVATO Following Londow Show Cancellation
It was an emotional day yesterday at the O2 Arena in London for Demi Lovato fans who came to see the superstar. In an unfortunate turn of events, Demi had to cancel her show due to being "very, very sick and with swollen vocal chords." But some fans, who seem to have been in the venue long before the Tell Me You Love Me artist made the announcement, stayed to sing "Skyscraper" for her.
The "Warrior" artist immediately took notice of the clip, disclosing that it made her cry.
My fans are seriously the best... I can’t believe how much love and support I’ve received today.. the video of my fans singing skyscraper outside of the venue made me cry 💗— Demi Lovato (@ddlovato) June 10, 2018
Demi then immediately released a statement on Twitter, apologizing to fans for the show cancellation. Unfortunately, she would have had to cancel the remainder of her tour if she would push through with her show at the O2 arena.
"I'm so so so sorry to disappoint any of my fans in London that have travelled hours to be here by plane or car, and to all of the fans that got these tickets for their birthday, holiday or any other special occasion," she wrote. "It breaks my heart to let you down. Just know I feel your frustration and I wouldn't do his unless I absolutely had to."
Feel better soo, Demi!
