Filipino Artist NO ROME Teams Up With THE 1975 In Upcoming EP
Filipino musician No Rome gave fans a taste of his upcoming EP with new single "Do It Again".
"Do It Again" is part of the young artist's four-track project titled RIP Indo Hisashi under Dirty Hit Records—the same label as world-renowned group The 1975. Interestingly, the rock band's George Daniel and Matty Healy co-produced the said record with No Rome. They are also credited as the featured artist in another track, "Narcissist", off the forthcoming release.
But if you need more reason to be jealous of the guy: Matty just called him his "muse" in an interview with Beats 1.
"This kid is my baby," says the band's frontman while holding the R&B superstar in his arms. "This kid is amazing, man".
He added, “It’s so exciting to be working with him. I just fell in love with it completely. I’d never seen him, I didn’t know who he was or anything. I flew him over to the UK because I was just too excited, and when I get that excited then I know that I’ve got to do it. We moved it over and signed him to Dirty Hit, and the rest was history.”
"This record, because we’re producing it ourselves and engineering it ourselves, @no_rome kind of became a bit of a muse of mine." @Truman_Black on new @the1975. Listen:https://t.co/CmN6yvYgnx pic.twitter.com/AtySQ82IK7— Beats 1 (@Beats1) May 24, 2018
All the best to you, No Rome! And honestly, we can't wait to hear the entire RIP Indo Hisashi.
