HAJJI ALEJANDRO Gears Up For His 45th Anniversary Concert In June!
Hajji Alejandro is ready to serenade his fans once again with his timeless OPM hits this June! Unlike his past big shows which were mainly collaborations with other icons, it will be a solo major concert this time titled “Powerhouse IV: Hajji Ako At Ang Aking Musika 45 Taon”.
The Pinoy hitmaker behind such classics as "May Minamahal" and "Nakapagtataka" aims to showcase his "real story as an artist" during his anniversary concert. After 45 years in the industry, his passion is still blazing and his music is still in the hearts of many Filipinos.
Back in June 1973, Hajji became a professional singer at age 18. Dubbed as the original “Kilabot ng mga Kolehiyala”, he was the first winner of Metro Popular Music Festival after interpreting Ryan Cayabyab’s “Kay Ganda Ng Ating Musika” in 1978. His songs include “Pakakip Butas”, “Ang Lahat Nito’y Para Sa Iyo”, “Ikakasal Ka Na” and more.
Joining the now 63-year old singer in his special night are artists who have a special place in his heart and were part of his illustrious music career like Marco Sison, Rey Valera, Celeste Legaspi, and daughter Rachel Alejandro. He’s also preparing a dance number to show not just his robust pop tenor voice but also his love for dancing.
“Powerhouse IV: Hajji Ako At Ang Aking Musika 45 Taon” is the fourth installment in the Powerhouse series, produced by Lucky 7 Koi with Cornerstone Concerts. Don’t miss this special event happening at The Theatre at Solaire on June 23!
