A Quiet Place continues to scare more Filipino audience as it now earned a total of 144.9 million pesos in the local box office.

United International Pictures announced that the Emily Blunt-John Krasinski sci-fi horror-thriller film is now officially the 9th highest-grossing horror film in the Philippines - thanks to non-stop word of mouth via social media.

A Quiet Place follows the story of a family who must live in silence to avoid mysterious creatures from catching them.

Globally, the Paramount Pictures-produced film has earned $206 million to date. Plus, A Quiet Place is yet to open in China and Japan so it'll probably rake more earnings worldwide in the coming weeks.

A Quiet Place is still showing in cinemas nationwide.
