ANNE CURTIS Fangirls Over Indie Folk Band BEN&BEN
Indie folk band Ben&Ben gained a new fan in Anne Curtis who was in awe after witnessing their live performance during the birthday party of the latter's sister over the weekend.
Organized by her beau Jeff Ortega, Jasmine Curtis-Smith was thrilled to saw one of her most favorite local bands at her surprise birthday party. Yep, she couldn't stop dancing all night to the songs of the band behind hits such as "Kathang Isip," "Maybe The Night," "Leaves," and "Ride Home" in videos posted by some of her family and friends.

But the band gained also "recruited" new fans during the night. Among them was Jasmine's sister Anne who took to Twitter to express how she became an instant fan - citing foreign acts like Boy & Bear, Mumford & Sons, Vance Joy, and The Lumineers as the Western counterpart of the indie folk band.
@BenAndBenMusic have a newly recruited fan in me! Their genre in up my alley that I love - very Boy & Bear Mumford & Sons, Vance Joy, Lumineers etc. PERO ATIN!!!! OPM!!! ❤️❤️❤️ https://t.co/5xfr7OA3Ma— Anne Curtis-Smith (@annecurtissmith) April 9, 2018
Anne also thanked the band for making her sister's birthday party "extra special." "Thank you for making my sestra’s birthday extra special! I’m pretty sure you saw her dancing with her hands up in the air and then crying and then dancing and then jumping around. So, THANK YOU! <3," she wrote.
