MYXclusive: ALEX AIONO Wants To Collaborate With VJ INIGO!
Looks like our very own VJ Inigo left a good impression on Alex Aiono the last time the YouTube sensation visited the Philippines! Asked if there's any Asian artist he'd want to collaborate with, the name "Inigo Pascual" was the first that came to his mind.
"He was super cool. He was super nice," said Alex in a press conference for his series of mall shows this weekend. "I'm hoping that I get to just even see him."
In an earlier MYXclusive interview, Inigo—who is a super duper huge fan of Alex—enthusiastically recalled meeting the "Work the Middle" singer in the MYX studio in 2017. "I visited him in the studio after his show in Pampanga which I already went to. Of course, I'm a fanboy pero syempre parang it's weird, right? Sabi sakin, 'Picture kayo', so everyone went silent. I was like, 'Hey, what's up man? I went to your show'. It was so awkward. After that picture, syempre ano nang sasabihin ko? I got my picture and I'm a fanboy so I really didn't know what to say. He was just smiling and staring at me, and I just started walking away."
Been a big fan of this guy for a while now! His Covers are always on blast on my phone. Being able to watch him perform live, motivated me so much as a newbie when it comes to performing. So much passion and love for his Craft. • Meeting him was even crazier, super simple dude and very humble.. • "Work The Middle" has been my jam for days now! So excited for more his Original Music. #Passion • @kyleecharri32 said they worked on something, haha here I am like -.- TFTI bros..... 👊🏻😩😂 want to be a part of it!
During his recent media launch as the newest MYX VJ, the "Dahil Sa'Yo" singer named Alex Aiono as one of the international artists he hopes to interview. Unfortunately, he's on an out-of-town trip so VJ Sunny stepped in. But VJ Inigo got a shout-out from his idol!
Aside from Inigo, Alex also mentioned wanting to work with Korean boyband BTS and Fil-Am Youtube star AJ Rafael.
