MYXclusive: EUGENE DOMINGO Gives Stellar Performance In "Night, Mother"

Posted at February 09, 2018

Eugene Domingo officially returns to her roots through the Filipino stage adaptation of Marsha Norman's Pulitzer-winning play Night, Mother

Night, Mother follows the story of Thelma who will try to stop her daughter Jessie from taking her own life while facing the idea of losing her child on that same night.

Tackling timely and relevant issues such as family issues, depression, and suicide, the Ian Lomongo adaptation of "Night, Mother" brings in Sherry Lara who is taking on the role of Thelma opposite the star of Kimmy Dora and Ang Babae Sa Septic Tank as Jessie.

With two equally powerhouse thespians on board, Night, Mother presents stellar performances that provide insight into several social and personal issues in the context of Philippine culture.

Watch our MYXclusive interview with Sherry Lara and Eugene Domingo below:

Night, Mother runs until March 18 at the PETA Theater with performances from Friday to Sunday.
