MYXclusive: SHANTI DOPE Reveals His Favorite GLOC-9 Albums!
Up-and-coming rapper Shanti Dope is undoubtedly on cloud 9 right now as he's being mentored by one of his greatest influences Gloc-9 while signed under Universal Records as well. The 16-year old artist whose real name is Sean Patrick Ramos began writing bars and rhymes in 2013 and decided to go with the name Shanti Dope, inspired by his father who's a practitioner of Krishna Consciousness. Shanti is the sanskrit word for “peace” so his rap alias means “Peace is my natural drug”.
He just released a new EP called Materyal and its lead single called “Nadarang” went straight to the top spot of a major music streaming service's viral chart. The official music video will be out on MYX soon!
