Frustration is crawling in the skin of Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington. Early this week, Chester made headlines after reacting to fans' negative response to their recently released material and telling them to move on from Hybrid Theory album.

"We were asked, 'What do you think of people who say you sold out?' I don't care," Chester said in an interview with Music Week as reported by NME. If you like the music, fantastic. If you don't like it, that's your opinion, too. Fantastic. If you're saying we're doing what we're doing for a commercial or monetary reason, trying to make success out of some formula... then stab yourself in the face!"

He continued, "When we made 'Hybrid Theory', I was the oldest guy in the band and in my early '20s. That's why I guess I'm like, 'Why are we still talking about 'Hybrid Theory'? It's f**king years ago. It's a great record, we love it. Like, move the f**k on. You know what I mean?"

Yes, Slipknot's Corey Taylor knows what you mean but still wants to offer his thoughts to Chester, saying he should be grateful and pick his battles right.

Speaking to Shmonty In The Morning radio show, Corey said, "I understand where he's at. God, I would've never say it the way he did, but you get frustrated and you want people to embrace the evolution. At the same time, you should be very, very fortunate that people this far along the line still love that music you made." Listen to his full interview here:

But the wounds made may not heal that easily with fans sharing haunting sentiments online.

Fellow Linkin Park vocalist Mike Shinoda already clarified on Twitter that all kinds of fans are welcome at their shows.

The band is currently gearing up for release of their seventh album One More Light on May 19 and is scheduled for tour shows with Machine Gun Kelly, and Blink-182.
