KZ was chosen to sing the official theme song of the movie adaptation of Changing Partners for its nationwide release!

The singer said that it’s an honor for her to sing the theme song titled "Sa Mga Salita" for the movie which is based on the Palanca-winning play by Vincent de Jesus.

KZ feels the importance of interpreting this song in her best version and although it is challenging for her to give justice to the song, singing it was no sweat for the "Labo" singer during the actual vocal recording.

“It’s a first for me. Sa lahat ata ng mga OSTs na kinanta ko, ito ‘yung standout kasi siya ‘yung pinaka-kakaiba sa mga kinanta ko, and I’m very happy to sing this song for the movie.”, the talented Soul Supreme stated after recording the song.

“Sobrang sakit ng kanta, eh. At hindi siya ‘yung usual na malungkot na kanta.”, KZ added while expressing her gratefulness for the opportunity to interpret this Vincent de Jesus composition.

The Dan Villegas-directed adaptation of Changing Partners first screened during the Cinema One Originals film festival last year, starring Agot Isidro, Jojit Lorenzo, Anna Luna and Sandino Martin.

The film took home eight awards during the festival including the Audience Choice Award, Best Music, Best Actor (Jojit Lorenzo), Best Actress (Agot Isidro) and Best Director (Dan Villegas).
