Lions and Acrobats is finally moving on from their debut album Points And Perspectives which was released 3 years ago! The indie rock band steps up their game in their upcoming sophomore record Mundane!

MYX caught up with Lions and Acrobats during the listening party for Mundane. The band came up with great stories out of the mundane things they see and experience daily. It revolves around the so-called quarter-life crisis: adulting, getting fed up with corporate life, and working hard for a meager profit while sacrificing a lot in the process.

True enough, drummer Pedro Tumibay is set to leave the group to focus on his other priorities outside the music scene. His bandmates did a tequila shot ceremony in his honor at the listening party.

Nick Lazaro of the band Moonwlk produced the album which is packed with 11 tracks. The six-piece rock outfit's goal was to have a better-sounding record and vocalist Icoy Rapadas believes they succeeded in doing so.

LAA will officially launch Mundane on October 21 at Social House, Circuit Makati with guests Run Dorothy and Runway Crimes. Lead single  "Cloud" will have an official music video soon. For now, get to know more about Lions And Acrobats' album by watching our MYXclusive interview below!
