LOOK: SPICE GIRLS' Geri Halliwell Apologizes After Leaving The Group 19 Years After
Spice Girls was formed in 1994 and hit the airwaves in 1996 after the release of their debut single "Wannabe". The group soon dominated the music scene with their upbeat and catchy tracks that launched them to superstardom.
The girls embarked on their Spiceworld World Tour back in 1998 and that was when Geri Halliwell (Ginger Spice) left the group. Her exit was later confirmed thru her spokesperson: "Sadly I would like to confirm that I have left the Spice Girls. This is because of differences between us. I'm sure the group will continue to be successful and I wish them all the best".
Nineteen years after the singer's exit, a fan account tweeted a compilation video of their world tour. Ginger Spice quickly reacted to the post and apologized for leaving the girls. Check out the tweets below:
