Fresh off the news that Extraction became Netflix's biggest movie ever, the Russo Brothers - who produced the Chris Hemsworth-starrer - have returned to the drawing board for a new action-thriller project.
Deadline confirmed that Avengers: Endgame directors Joe and Anthony Russo will be reuniting with Chris Evans in a new film titled The Gray Man. Ryan Gosling is also set to star in the film which reportedly has a whopping budget of 200 million dollars, making it Netflix's most expensive film to date.
The Gray Man follows the story of Court Gentry (Gosling), a freelance assassin and former CIA operative who is being hunted down by Lloyd Hansen (Evans), Gentry's former cohort at the CIA. The project is said to have a James Bond feel to it with the intention of creating a new spy film franchise.
The Marvel star, who has worked with the Russos in the billion-dollar franchise on multiple occasions, shared his excitement on social media.
The film will begin production in early 2021.
