There are many things that you’d like to ask in hopes of getting the clarification that you need. But best believe that some things are better off left unsaid because it will just leave you more confused than before. There are many layers as to why relationships fall apart and maybe it would be better for you to self-reflect on it instead of exposing your wounds to what caused it in the first place.
2. People don’t always tell the truth.
There are times when people would tell you what they know you want to hear instead of coming clean. You may think that you’re getting to the bottom of the issue when you confront them, but, in reality, you may just be getting the sugarcoated half-truth. What’s even worse is that you will also be inclined to believe this than to actually face the situation from what it truly is.
3. All you need to truly move on is yourself.
In a perfect setting, breakups are mutual and peaceful. But that’s not always the case, isn’t it? There are many ways to move on. You don’t have to keep coming back to the person who broke your heart and expect them to fix it for you. It doesn’t work that way. From this point on, you’re going to have to face this situation head on, learn from it, and endure it until it doesn’t hurt you anymore.
It may seem like it would be impossible to overcome what you’re feeling now, but that’s simply not true. You just need to take it one day at a time. Pick yourself up piece by piece. And stop looking for healing in places where you won’t find it.
