Universal struck gold with the relaunch of their "Monster Universe" headlined by The Invisible Man starring Elisabeth Moss.
Now, the film production outfit is set to revisit classic horror titles to expand the said universe with plans of interconnecting the films ala Marvel Cinematic Universe. Hollywood heartthrob Ryan Gosling is set to star in the reboot version of The Wolfman.
According to Variety which first broke the news, the film is already under development and the studio has met with several directors over the past month. The report also claims that the film will be set in present times.
The original 'Wolfman' film premiered in 1941 and is considered by horror film fans as a cult classic. It spawned a 2010 remake topbilled by Benicio Del Toro and Emily Blunt.
