It's been almost three years since an explosion killed 22 and left many more injured after Ariana Grande's concert at the Manchester Arena. In the midst of promotions for her collaboration "Rain On Me" with Lady Gaga, the pop superstar has sent a heartfelt message to fans on her Instagram story.
"I want to take a moment to acknowledge and send my love to everyone that is feeling the sadness and tremendous heaviness of the anniversary coming up this week," she wrote before continuing, "Not a day goes by that this doesn't affect u and all of us still. I will be thinking of u all week and weekend."
"My heart, thoughts, prayers are with u always," she concluded the message and added a bee emoji which has become a symbol of unity and defiance following the tragedy.
Almost a year after the tragedy, Ari returned with her first new music titled "no tears left to cry" with the lyrics and music video alluding to the attack.
