Eminem expressed his love and admiration for late rapper Tupac Shakur in a new tribute.
In the latest episode of his Shade45 radio special titled Music To Be Quarantined By, the Real Slim Shady praised the "California Love" hitmaker as he was about to play Tupac's Me Against The World single "If I Die Tonight". "Okay, this next song is from an artist who I feel like might be the greatest songwriter of all time," he said.
Em added: "Debate what you want about MC skills and all that, because he had that too. This is one of them songs by 2Pac that, to me, he was showing you, ‘I can write heartfelt shit and I can write lyrical, crazy shit too.’"
One of the most celebrated rap artists of all time, Tupac's promising career was put to an end when he was fatally shot in Las Vegas, Nevada in 1996. He was only 25.
