After turning down the role of Prince Eric in the live-action adaptation of The Little Mermaid and failing to snag the lead part in the upcoming Elvis Presley biopic, singer-actor Harry Styles seems to have his sights set on a new character.
In an interview with Hits Radio, the "Sign Of The Times" hitmaker and Dunkirk star expressed his desire to play the iconic James Bond role and take over for Daniel Craig after he retires the character. Harry said: "Yeah, I mean, who wouldn’t [want to be Bond]? I grew up watching those. You know, I loved him when I was a kid. So I think it’s kind of everyone’s dream a little bit, right?" Craig made his Bond debut in 2006's Casino Royale and is the longest tenured actor to play Agent 007. He's reportedly hanging up his tux after No Time To Die. Several actors including Idribs Elba and Cillian Murphy have since been rumored to be in talks to replace him in the franchise.
