The annual fair continues to kill it with its growing number of local brands that continue to support the event every year.
The man behind Pursuit Fair! Meet PURVEYR Head Marvin Conanan. Thanks for inviting us, Marvin! More power!

For multi-dimensional media brand PURVEYR, striving to become a strong platform to unite the continuously thriving creative community of brand owners, entrepreneurs, creators, craftsmen, designers, and more is of pinnacle importance.

It's definitely one of their main goals—a reason why they host the annual Pursuit Fair, a creative and cultural fair that started in 2016 that gathers a selection of brands and organizations that PURVEYR believes in.

For PURVEYR Head Marvin Conanan, the integral components of Pursuit Fair are creativity, commerce, and community. He also shared that this year, there were 65 local brands that participated and about a thousand people who attended at the Samsung Hall. Those numbers have increased over the years, proving that we have a very exciting and thriving street/streetwear culture in the Philippines.

"We do this event because of the need of a platform for certain brands that we cater to. Those who are into streetwear, art, music that don't have a platform to sell their products, meet people, their consumers, and gather as a community," Marvin explained. He also said that he's happy to see the brands growing and improving the products they showcase.

This year, they initated a new concept as the fair also held several talks, perfect for aspiring creatives and brand owners. It featured a well-informed and experienced set of speakers and moderators from different fields such as digital marketing and the underground local music industry. During the latter, we caught up with speakers Samanta Nicole of UNKNWN & CC: Concepts; Erick Ong of XX:XX & Black Market; George Balobalo of Bawal Clan, and Bea Te of Bad Decisions.

DJs who played at the venue dictated the vibe of the fair while everyone was busy interacting with each other and, of course, shopping for some goodies.

Pursuit Fair Vol. 6 evoked an atmosphere where guests felt comfortable being divergent from the mainstream way of thinking, while also finding like-minded people who can help them in their own creative endeavors. In creatives, we trust! We're hoping to attend another one next year! Check out some MYXclusive photos from the event in the gallery above!
