After her stint in Idol Philippines was cut short, cover artist Vanya Castor makes her transition into a bonafide recording artist after signing up as an interpreter in this year's Himig Handog songwriting competition. She joins the likes of Idol judge Moira dela Torre, Janella Salvador, Daniel Padilla, I Belong To The Zoo, and more.
The 23-year-old singer from Bacolod brought to life "Paano Ba" which is about unrequited love. "Vanya is like the perfect choice [to sing] my song. Sobrang soulful yung boses niya and I love how she sings 'Paano Ba'," composer Richanne Charms Jacinto said in an interview.
