In case you haven't been catching up with the news as of late, music mogul Scooter Braun has officially acquired the rights to Taylor Swift's entire song catalog – from her self-titled debut album all the way to Reputation which is worth over 300 million dollars.
But now, our Queen Tay seems to be leaning towards a Plan B of her own and that is to re-record all of her previous material. Yep, you read that right. All of 'em.
When asked about her next move during her recent CBS News interview, Tay simply said "Yeah, absolutely."
The idea was actually brought up by fellow singer Kelly Clarkson who urged Swift to re-record her songs in the midst of the heated issue. A similar move was pulled off by former teen singer JoJo who re-recorded her first two albums.
Big Machine Records, the original home to Taylor's music, is still releasing special editions of her tracks and other merch but Swifties all over the world have rallied against the label and vowed not to support future releases coming from them.
Meanwhile, the much-anticipated TS7 aka Lover comes out August 23. You can pre-save it already through your favorite music streaming platforms.
